Following is short reviewer conclusion, translated by Adam Wlosok-san
NEW HANA CARTRIDGES FROM THE “S” SERIES, both SL Mk II and SH Mk II, offer higher resolution than their first versions--at least, as far as I remember. Previously, they were more similar to the "E" series in terms of detail shaping and thus closer to the Denon DL-103. Now they are more open, better at differentiating dynamics. But most importantly, they clearly showcase differences in tonal colors, their shades, and subtle variations.
These cartridges work well in any system and with any music. They deliver a large soundstage with a strong foreground and can also produce deep bass. They excel in dynamic contrasts and track grooves remarkably well, ensuring that even dense sound clusters remain distortion-free. And that’s precisely it--the lack of distortion combined with a richly saturated midrange makes these designs so enjoyable and versatile. On one hand, they are forgiving, and on the other, highly detailed. Fantastic engineering--our verdict for both versions is the ˻RED FINGERPRINT˺ award. ●
The mentioned Red Fingerprint award is granted by the editors of HighFidelity.pl exclusively to outstanding products in their category.
